Hello! I'm so glad you're here :) Thank you for taking the time to fill out my inquiry form. This is the first step in the booking process! By filling out this form, it gives me a great general idea of what kind of session you're wanting.
02. Let's go over what you're looking for!
Depending on the session type, I may send over a questionnaire to get a more in depth idea of what you're looking for and to make sure we are a good fit! There's no one size fits all photographer, so it's my job to make sure I can fulfill your wants and needs for a session.
03. Let's pick a time and place!
Once I get an idea of what type of session you're looking for, we can then move on to my available dates/times! I generally work around the times that the sun rises and when it sets. This is best for optimal lighting and giving your photos that magical warm feel. We also can choose the location that's best for you and the vibe you're wanting. Whether you have a specific place in mind or just need recommendations, we can definitely asses all of our options!
04. Let's assess package options!
Once we have a date, time, and location picked out; it's time to asses package options! I will go over the types of packages I offer and what those include (session length, amount of locations/outfits, print release, etc.)
05. Your contract and invoice is ready!
We are almost done! Once the session package is chosen along with the location and date, I will send over a personalized contract with more information about our session. Once we have both signed, I will send over an invoice for your retainer. Once that is completed, we are officially booked and ready to go!
06. Session and delivery!
Finally, we will meet for your session and have a blast! Once I have the photos, I will then edit and deliver them through an online digital gallery. You are able to download and print your photos from there!
FAQ
Do you have a retainer fee?
Yes! I require a retainer at the time of booking to secure your time and date for your session cost. Depending on the session type, this can rage from 15%-30%. The remainder is due 2-4 weeks before the session date (also depending on your session type)!
What should I wear?!
A common question I get all the time! First and foremost, wear something that makes YOU comfortable. It is so important to me that you aren't feeling uncomfortable during our session! Overall, watch out for bright colors and wearing several different types of patterns. This can really throw off the photos and become a distraction from the main focus (you!). Dress appropriately for the environment and the weather (a change of shoes for walking, something warmer during the colder months, etc).
Is there anything else I should bring to the session?
I always would recommend bringing some essentials for the session! This may be sunscreen, bug spray, bobby pins, hair/makeup products if you're wanting to do a touchup, water and snacks, you name it! I try my best to keep these on me during sessions as well.
Do you deliver RAW photos?
I don't offer the delivery of RAW photos due to the unpredictable outcome of photos. We are all human and sometimes mistakes can be made! The lighting may have changed, the cropping of the photo, colors and tones may be off, or there's something in the way that I wasn't able to catch in the moment. I want my photos to represent myself and my style accordingly, editing is a very important part of my process!
How are my photos being protected and backed up?
One of the most important things I do for each of my clients is make sure to the best of my abilities that your photos are safe and protected! My backup process begins with making sure my camera is functioning properly before the session (if it isn't, I always have backup on hand). Then, using two high-quality and reliable SD cards in my camera during the time of the shoot. As soon as I leave the shoot, I will then head back to my home base to upload the photos onto my larger hard drive. Once they are uploaded to the hard drive, they then download to my cloud storage application and my computer's backup drive. From there on, they are copied into my editing software until the edits are finalized and uploaded to your online digital gallery. This means that your photos will be stored securely in 5 separate places until the point of delivery.
How many photos will I receive?
This varies from session to session! I don't advertise a certain amount, because I never want to limit the amount of photos you receive. I strive to deliver the best quality photos, as well as a good variety from the session!
